Happy Fall Ya'll!

YAY!  Fall is here.

And even though we still have about a month of heat ahead of us-we have experienced a cool down here in AZ.

The wreath is out!  The pumpkin candles are burning.  And the kids can't stop talking about Halloween!

With a slight drop in the temps...we have been trying to spend as much time as possible outside!

AND we have even had our windows open!  Which is not only nice for some breezy fresh air...but also great for keeping a 2 year old entertained.

These girls love their sidewalk art!

This morning, we headed out bright and early to the park!

The sand is always a hit with Ains.  Time to get sand for our sandbox!

The kids had a blast chasing eachother around playing "dog".  And I wasn't sweating to death.  HAHA!

Sweet Lucy the patient observer!

And alot of you saw this on FB...but love this picture of my teeny tiny BIG GIRL-Thanks Tiff!

Teeny Tiny I tell you.

And in addition to having some outdoor time-we have been crazy crazy busy with just our daily schedule!

Lucy and I headed up to PHX this past weekend for some girlie time with my mom!

Last week Evan had "H" week...which was a VERY big deal in this house.  A HOKIE and HORNS house. (though you may  notice NO Texas things in these pics-yep...he said Hokies are better)

His show and tell...

And Evan had his first chapel in school!  It was so fun to be able to join in.

Though would have to say...the chapel service would not be complete without Ainsley lifting her dress up in front of the entire service and shaking her booty.  WOW.

And of course-we have been continuing Evan's swim practice routine.  Bets for how long he will survive this winter?  The pool is heated but he was FREEZING today.  HMMMMMM.  Mommy paid through November...So we may need a wetsuit.

She always has to wrap him up...JR. Mommy.

He can now dive AND has started breaststroke.

Super busy and always on the go but we are enjoying every minute of our CRAZY life!  Excited for all the new and exciting things this fall has in store!

What a week!

HEALTHY.

We are all HEALTHY.  WHEW.

After 5 days of poor Evan being so sick...we are finally better and had a normal weekend with family and friends!  WOOHOO!

Last weekend while we were in PHX for Christian's annual end of the year work party, Evan came down with a flu-type bug...it was awful...poor guy!  Counted down for weeks so excited to go to Phoenix and then was sick :(

So a few from last weekend...

Arent these mountains gorgeous?  These were on the literally on the lake we were at...they were beautiful and totally reminded me of our Tucson mountains :)

About to board our boat!

We had a great little date night :)

The next morning, bubba woke up sick...we were kind of stranded in PHX until he felt well enough to be in the car :(

Just a few pics from around the house last week....Evan was SO upset to have to miss school Wednesday (it's show and tell day and it was E week) and Monday he missed his class pic (no worries on that-his teacher is letting me take one!)  Ainsley America cheered him up!

Awww look who can do piggies now!  I am not sure who thought this was funnier...Lucy or Ainsley...Ainsley thought it was so funny and made me do some for her too!

He is so creative...ALWAYS wearing some sort of costume...this day...a dinosaur super cowboy?!

These poor babies had AWFUL cabin fever...but we still managed to have some fun!

And Friday...he was so excited to return to school...his show tell a day late!  He brought his "E" monster that his aunt Sarah got made for him!  Seriously...the coolest thing.  Ainsley has one too...Lucy needs one (hint hint...birthday idea? ;-) )

Friday night we had a little girls night at our neighbors...the girls played and the mommies made costumes!  Ainsley asked all week to play with her friends but with Evan so sick, and me being concerned she would catch it...we kept them all in.  Ainsley and 4 of her girlfriends are all going to be something together!  I.CANT.WAIT.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Lucy's 10 months old!

Ok...I feel like I JUST finished her 9 month post!  And now 10 months and already starting some first birthday party planning! AH!

Happy 10 month birthday Lucy!

Lucy is so sweet and snuggly!  And these pics remind me that she is still my BABY!

Even though she wants NOTHING to do with being a baby!  I can't even get her to eat ANY baby food...well unless its in a pouch.  haha!

Last week we went out to an apple orchard near us and I decided these pics I took of her would be perfect 10 month pictures!

Gotta love the cheesy all teeth smiles!

She was so much fun!

Lucy is cruising all over the place and has taken a few steps.  Overall though...she seems quite content just crawling around!  She is super laid back and the only times she is really bothered at all is when someone takes something from her or she is SUPER hungry.  That being said, she has a CRAZY appetite!  And such a little peanut too!  Can STILL wear 3-6 months clothes, a size 2 shoe (though getting snug), and a size 3 diaper.  She's our tiny bit!

She loves the dogs (I think Jackson is her fav...she says "jack"), climbing the stairs, baths, swimming, music, and putting everything into her mouth.  She dislikes-headbands, shoes, naptime, and being in her carseat (I think its because she cant see the DVD player).

She is totally trying to say words and when we tell her "SAY _____" She will always make some sort of sound!  She can say- "mom" "dad" "dog" "jack" "sna" (for all food) "bub"will blow kisses, wave, and point!  She still isnt sleep through the night and is down to one nap a day.  She gives LOTS of hugs and kisses (on the mouth haha)

Loves ANYTHING outside and constantly tries to keep up with the older ones and their friends :)

Happy 10 month birthday Goose!  We LOVE LOVE LOVE you Boo-Boo!
