23 weeks!

Christian worked SOOOO hard getting that VERY messy room all cleaned out last weekend! So, here is a little nursery preview. Obviously, still much work to be done...but here you can see the bedding and monkey mobile :)

DADDY FEELS MOVEMENT!!!!!

Today is a VERRRRRYYYYYY exciting day!!!! Christian felt the baby kick this morning!!!!! I was laying on my side in bed and he was kicking pretty hard (didn't hurt, just more dramatic than usual), guess he doesn't like when I lay on the right. So, I had Christian put his hand there and he felt him!!!!!!!!!!

Later today I will post a belly pic...but today is 80's day at school, so I am looking a bit retro. Though, for most of you who know me, know I went through a pretty big retro phase in college, so I was excited to pull out some of the old threads :) haha!

OHHHHHH Man!

So I found this website... www.makemebabies.com...you upload pics of yourself and they "make your baby"...PRETTY HILARIOUS!!!! Scary, but FUNNY! Here is what we got!!! We used a few different set of pics...,then threw in a girl pic just for fun...we just hope EVERYONE gets ugly babies on the site, and we aren't the "fortunate" ones...hahahaha :)

Belly pic, cramps, nursey, and concert!

On Saturday night, Chris and I went to a concert! It was SOOOO fun...and the baby loved it too! He was moving around like crazy during the concert! I got some fun looks, being at a concert...but, the pizza guy hooked me up with the biggest piece and one with most bubbles, which he assured me he usually keeps for himself. haha...and I am sure that the lead singer of Straylight Run was THRILLED when the chick that approached him after his concert telling him how much he ROCKED was a pregnant momma :) But, we had a BLAST! We also snagged a snap shot into our future when we saw a few pretty hip parents with their kids at the concert...sooooo us!

It has been hard to sleep and I have had some growing pains these last couple of weeks. Last night was bad, I was kind of scared, but it shortly went away. Figured something had to be coming, that first trimester was WAY to EASY!

We thought it would be funny to add this pic to show how much work we have ahead of us in the nursery...well really how much work we will be doing BEFORE Saturday when we pick up our furniture! This junk room is out of control!
Christian has really been great! As most of you know...I LOVE cooking, but since being a mommy, have not really felt so up for it...though with the holidays coming I better SNAP out of it, because I LOVE BAKING! Well, anyway, here HE IS...BAREFOOT IN THE KITCHEN!

21 week belly shot!

Here is a belly shot! Didn't take one with the face...had just gone swimming :) Only able to wear a few pairs of my pants that are REALLY low. Other wise, I am in maternity pants. Feeling movement all the time! Sometimes in the middle of the night making it hard to go back to sleep after my restroom run!

Little Lindberg is about the size of a carrot this week! CRAZY! About 10 1/2 inches long and about 3/4 a pound!

We also bought our furniture today! I so excited about it...it is kind of retro modern. Pretty different too which I really like. Which means, Christian and I have about 2 weeks to get our act together and clean out the baby room! We also bought a baby papsan at the Target grand opening...it looks so comfy...which I could have one! We also played with lots of car seats and strollers and picked out a really neat one. And, looked at high chairs and portacribs! It was fun shopping around with Christian for baby stuff...he is so excited! I LOVE IT!

Half Way!!!!

Yesterday I had a doctors appointment and everything went great! Measuring right at 20 weeks :) So, I am half way there! YEA!!!!! I met the new PA and LOVED her...I am going to see her next time too...she was just so personal and we talked for quite a while about stuff :) I figure I will rotate between her and the doc. Heart rate was 158... :)

It's been real funny because now that I am showing, people in public talk to me all the time about being pregnant! Like yesterday when I was at the grocery store buying some soda and cereal and the checker wouldn't let me carry out by myself...oh geez! But...it is really neat that people are starting to notice and know that I am not just fat :) Because that stage was not fun! hahaha!

Also, I am now having to buy maternity pants. I can still wear a few of my pants with the band...but they dont even zip and I feel so self conscious about the band moving up and my zipper showing that it is uncomfortable. Plus the maternity pants are REALLY comfortable...I am probably going to continue to hunt around this weekend for some work wear!

Vacation to NC and VA

Christian and I had a WONDERFUL vacation together!!! We started out at the Outer Banks in North Carolina then went to Williamsburg, VA. These pics were taken at the beach. It is so beautiful there and REALLY made us miss seasons that we really don't get in Arizona. Here are a few pics of us on the beach! We also got our pics taken by a photographer when we were there and that was a blast! I will post some of those once I get them!

Vacations always go TOO fast! We had a great time at the Lindberg All Inclusive Bed and Breakfast (hahahaha)! Also, we went on a BIG shopping spree for the new baby boy! THANKS GRANDNAN!!!! Our boy is going to be stylin!

BABY is ACTIVE!!!

I felt the first movement a couple of weeks ago,but lately he has been moving all the time!!! I will wake up at night and go to the bathroom and then lay down and he will shift to one side. You can tell because my tummy will be rock hard on one side and soft on the other side! It's pretty crazy!

The little movements are how the books say...like little popping...it's so neat!
