HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIMI!

WE LOVE YOU!

Just a few from this week!

Yes, a VERY random first picture but here's the story.  Ainsley is OBSESSED with throwing things in the trash.  Last week, I discovered that she was taking food out of the fridge and pantry and throwing it away!!!!  So, I explained to her that we only throw away empty bags, containers, etc.  Well...Christian was so proud of her problem solving skills after I sent him the picture above!  I went to through something away and noticed the empty animal crackers bag in the trash.  Out loud I said "Where are the crackers?!"  Ainsley pointed to the table and smiled.  OH MY GOODNESS!

Yesterday, we went to library story time.  This is our normal my gym day but they are moving to a larger location this week so they are closed.

Evan and his friend Braelyn

Ainsley dancing with her little girlfriends Elizabeth and Annabella

After the library...we headed to the park for a picnic!

And I just HAD to capture this on camera....AINSLEY PLAYING INDEPENDENTLY!  This NEVER happens.  She constantly wants to follow me around and do everything I do OR I have to sit and entertain her.  HAHA.  Little stinker.  Though, she is quite helpful with moving laundry from the washer to dryer, emptying the dishwasher, brushing my hair (yikes), and putting on makeup (PS...she is NOT fooled by just giving her the poofy brush...you have to put it in the makeup).  Her new obsession this week...earrings.  Sorry little lady, going to be a while on that!  Maybe some pretty stick ons when I am sure you won't EAT them!  haha!

And this morning was alot of fun because we had a breakfast playdate!  My new friend Jasmine and her two little boys came over early this morning (I mean the kids get up at the crack of dawn!) and she brought HOMEMADE cinnamon rolls!  Christian was so bummed he missed out!!!!  It's out of the can in this house!  But she said it was easy (really????) so maybe I will give it a try!  The kids had a blast playing and we got to be lazy and chat!

We are definetly starting to be busier during the week which is nice.  Have met a few friends and are enjoying exploring a new city!  We are very excited to see Tucson's NEW baby elephants on MONDAY!  woohoo!

Day at the Ranch!

This morning we went to TREK ranch with the Oro Valley Moms group!  We had a great time!  The kids were so excited about were standing by the door for like 30 minutes before it was time to go!

The ranch was really neat!  Everything you would expect :)  And the mission is really cool too.  A theraputic ranch with the basic principle of community service to children and adults with special needs.  They also do stuff with school districts, Ronald McDonald house, hospitals, and hold many events for organizations, like Tucson Moms and camps.

Evan petting a minuature pony.  Ainsley wasnt a fan of the big animals section.

 Donkey!

Baby goat...about 5 weeks old!  So cute!

Lots of bunnies!  And the kids all got to feed them.

They were all a littl skiddish at first...

But then warmped up!

Chickens!  See the large brown one the left?!  While we were in the coop...she laid an egg!  The ranch lady tried to pick it up to show the kids but she got really defensive and sat on it!  That means it's fertilized!  VERY COOL!

But....then one of the kids found another egg on the ground!  This one was "cold" so that means it's not fertilized so we could touch it.

After seeing all the animals:  goats, pigs, horses, mini horses, bunnies, ducks, chickens...we got to walk around at our leisure and the kids got to see everything they wanted too for a second time.

Ainsley attempting to feed the bunnies corn...AND yes, she did take a few nibbles...SOOOOOOO gross!  I told her "Ainsley, that's for the bunnies, feed the bunnies" and she literally THREW it at one!  UGH poor bunny!

We had a great time and even though I have a bloody nose and TERRIBLE headache (allergic to like ALL furry friends) it was worth it before the kids had a blast!

And just a few pics from the weekend!

Yes...Ainsley uses the potty now!  Not routinely but whenever she ask we put her on and she usually goes!

Oh these two creating a roucous in Target

And Saturday night...the fun game in this house was who could get the sticky hand highest on the wall!

Another Great Weekend!

We woke up this weekend to SNOW on the mountains!  It was so pretty!
After donut Saturday, Evan was very anxious to go to Toys R Us and spend his gift cards from his Great Grandma and Mimi!  And we had a feeling what he might pick out considering our street is full of older boys who are always riding their BIKES!  Yep, a bike!

So he spent most of the day riding his new bike!  He is doing really well!  And LOVES it!

We pretty much had a lazy Saturday around the house watching movies and playing outside!

Once Sunday morning, the excitement for Evan's friends to arrive started!!!  He couldn't wait for Kaylee to come!  To pass the time, they played superheros!

Poor Ainsley doesnt have her own cape but handed Christian Evan's lowe's apron, so that worked!

Sunday afternoon was really fun because we actually had a few special visitors!  Lindsay and Shawn stopped by on their way back from camping and hung out for the afternoon!  It was great to catch up and hang out!  Thank you guys so much for stopping by!  Can't wait to see you again when you head back down!

Jackie, Kaylee, and Brooke arrived shortly after and the kids were all so excited to play!

The little girls coloring!

Bouncing!  They had so much fun Aunt Sarah!

Popsicles!  We had LOTS of yummy junk food!!!!

The kids had a blast riding their bikes together!

That night we took the kids to Peter Piper!  I havent been there in FOREVER and couldnt remember how toddler/PSschooler friendly it was...there was a few things the kids could do and they had a great time!

 NAUGHTY!!!!!

Carousel Time!  Jackie and I were SOOOOO dizzy.  Guess that's a sign you are getting old.  LOL

They thought it was so funny they were sitting next to each other!

 AH!  CAUGHT!

After Peter Piper we headed back to the house for Evan's first sleepover!  He was so excited!  Before Kaylee got there gave me a list of everything you need for a sleepover...sleeping bag, flashlight, etc.  cracks me up!

Trying for a group shot!  Ainsley is not so cooperative!

Sweet sisters!

The kids went down pretty easy so the adults stayed up late and watched a movie, made icecream...it was so great to have some down time to just hang out and visit!!!!  Everyone slept pretty good but I think we decided next time...the big kids are camping out in the living room!  :)

The next morning after many yummy donuts...the kids were ready for more play!

We had planned on heading to My Gym for playtime but the little girls were soooooo pooped!  They slept for like 2 hours so by time they woke up it was time for lunch and Jackie and the girls got all packed up :(

It was SO much fun having them here!  I can't wait until their next trip!  Jackie is my go-to girlfriend and it has been hard being far away (though we are making our long distance relationship work LOL).  I call her with any and everything (most of the times even for nothing) and its hard not seeing her whenever I want :)  But, distance doesnt affect true friendships and I am glad it is only a few hours away.

Pregnancy update:  Feeling a little better.  Some days are yucky but my appetite has kicked in for sure!  AH!  I AM JUST SOOOOOO TIRED!  Once again...needing that second trimester energy surge!
