IT'S A BOY!!!!

We are so excited to have a little boy! I ALWAYS wanted a big brother...not that my little one isn't so much fun...but I am glad that their future little bro/sis will have a big brother to look up to and take care of them! Enjoy the pics!

THE CRAZIEST FEELING!!!!

Early this morning at about 5 am...I felt the baby MOVE for the first time!!!! I was laying on my back and it felt like a goldfish SWIMMING from the right side of my belly to the middle...it was very strange, yet thrilling! I yelled for Christian and he tried to feel it, but it will be a while before anything is felt from the outside.

I have not felt it since this morning, but when I wake up tomorrow, I am going to be really still and see SHE (as Christian calls the baby) moves again!

2nd Doc Appt and my HUGE appetite!!!

Yesterday, I had my 2nd doctor appt. Everything was great! I met my doctor and I really like her...she is very laid back, which will be great with MY personality :) We got to hear the heartbeat, it was in the 150's which is good that we are getting accurate ratings at home :)

Also, she told me it is fine to dye my hair! I haven't NOT dyed my hair about every 4 months or so since about 7th grade, so it was good to hear that it was just a myth!

My appetite lately has been insane!!!! Luckily I have been eating HEALTHY things because otherwise eeeeeeeek! haha!!!

BUT, the BEST NEWS of the week is that in TWO WEEKS Christian and I will find out whether we are having a boy or a girl!!!! NO preference...just SOOOOO excited to know :)

Doppler and News Breaking!

Here is our first Ultrasound pic...it was taken on August 7th, so I was about 10 weeks and 4 days :) I have a few others...but honestly, this is the only one where LL (Little Lindberg) actually looks like a baby and not a giant comma.

Last night, Christian and I used our at home doppler to listen to the heartbeat. We had thought we had found it before, but are now convinced that we just now found it for the first time last night. The heart rate was 155. We heard it at our first Doc appt, but that seems so long ago now, so it was nice to hear it again!

I told my class yesterday. I made them solve this little riddle for homework. There are so cute about it! They already want to touch my belly and ask me what it is and if I will bring the baby in to meet them. Not to mention, we can't take a bathroom break without them telling EVERYONE we come into contact with.

And Baby Makes SIX!

Well...I have heard blogs are the latest rage...so, I figured I should start one for our new little addition since most of our friends and family are so far away :(

A couple weeks ago, I had my first appointment confirming that we will indeed be new parents (well those who know us, know that we have been parents to 3 VERY giant dogs, but of course this is different). Once the baby comes, there will officially be just as many humans as dogs in the house!

Our first appointment was very excited. We had our first sonogram (photos below) and heard the HEARTBEAT!!!! It was so amazing!!!! The sonogram said our date is around March 1st.

Today, I am about 14 weeks! It is crazy how fast it is gone so far!!! I am going to post the sonogram photos and also a belly pic (once I get Chris to take one), so everyone can see the growth :) I already feel so big!!!

Being pregnant is definitely a very unique feeling. I have feel so fortunate that I have not been ill, etc...just major food aversions which has driven Christian CRAZY!!! The way I knew something was going on was that I was getting this very strange butterfly feeling. I told Christian it is good though, because next time I am pregnant, I will know right away! I actually found out this time before even missing...I actually took it to prove to my mom that I WASN'T pregnant...and well...that backfired!!!! :)

Well...dinner is ready and I am STARVING!
