The two new cool things in our house!

Most of our days this week have been spent doing one of two things: either hanging out in Evan's tent and tunnell OR making field goal post in the hallway and running touchdowns and kicking field goals! Can you tell someone is ready for football season?! LOL The cutest thing? Evan MUST have Ainsley be a part of it all! You can see here...that he is kind of upset when she crawled out of the tent. haha. When he shoots basketball hoops, she has to do it his old baby one, has to have her own football, etc. It is so sweet! And of course, she loves it!

Ainsley's new thing? Of course pulling up on EVERYTHING! But, also thinks that crawling on top of the dogs is hilarious and they are so good with her...though Riley of course gives me the look ;)

PEEK A BOO!

Watching her crazy brother!

This is a short post! Just a few pics...trying to be better about posting as I take...LOL...need to get some hallway football pics and ones of Ainsley with the puppies!

Party TIME!

Our weekends and well week days have been so busy lately! Parties! Playdates! Preschool! It's been crazy! BUT SO FUN! :) Right now the weeks seem to just be flying by...I feel like before we know it we are going to be celebrating the holidays :) During the week, we stay pretty busy with Little gym, preschool, usually an outting or two, grocery shopping, etc! Just in the last week and a half we have been to the Children's museum and aquarium! I will have to take some pics and video at Evan's next LG class...I am so proud of all his progress he has made lately! Christian went with us on Saturday morning and couldn't believe all the new skills he can do!

And now on to pics! Here are some pics from some of thea parties we have attended lately! These first ones are from Christian's work party on Saturday night! It was there big end of the fiscal celebration and such a blast! We were all talking how funny it is because 4 years ago, the party was at Dave and Busters and then NONE of us had kids! We all stayed out pretty late that year! Now, most of the guys in Christian's office are on number 2 and at about 8...the party was winding down :) I love hanging out with Christian's work friends families...they are so much fun! Anyways...so we ate (OMG I don't think Evan has EVER had so much sugar...fondue! Thanks Uncle Greg (LOL) ), played lots of games (check out Ev's big prize), won a gift card in the raffle (woohoo), Ainsley LOVED playing with little Olivia, and I got to catch up with all the wives!

Ainsley loved watching all the things big girl Olivia could do!

And more parties! The first weekend in August was crazy fun! TWO parties and the last day of sports class in one day! Here is one of our parties...it was a messy theme! They made mud pies, did finger paint, bug races, a pinata...had a blast! Here is a few pics and the cape I made Mattias!

That day we also had Kaylee's 3rd Birthday party! A pool party! Yes, the cake pics are first...check out the adorable cake Amy made! The kids had a blast with water balloons, swimming, squirt bottles, sprinklers, and lots of yummy treats!

Too funny!

And our last day of sports class! Evan had so much fun at this class and I think the structure was great for him!

Touch down cheer!

Last weekend...we also had Grace's birthday party (no pics), Ryan's party (couldn't make it because Ainsley was sick, AND cousin Lexi's party (no pics)....My two are social butterflies! LOVE IT!

8 Months Old!

Today, Ainsley is 8 months old! I just can't believe how our weeks are flying by! She is getting to be such a big girl and doing SOOOOO much!

-Eating a TON of food, favorites: avacado, apples, pears, bananas, puffs, oatmeal, melts, PANCAKES (torn in tiny pieces, and cheerios

-Not a fan of anything green...BUT, if I had a TINY bit of fruit to it...takes it fine

-Drinks water from a cup and a straw :)

-Pulls up on EVERYTHING! And attempts to let go.

-Loves to play with her shape sorter, ring stacker, cups, and her baby dolls...but frequently goes for Evan's toys

-Has figured out how to take her bows out...LOL...and her hair is in this akward long in the front stage where it's kind of hard to put a clip in the front but to short to part on the side.

-Crawling EVERYWHERE on her knees...which has led to skinned knees

-Says Dada, bubba, and muuuuum (mom?)

-Still a pretty good sleeper but recently started taking a morning nap and deciding to wake up during the night (yawn :/)

-Giggles, Squeals, Screams, and Growls

-Very playful but in public can be a little shy

-Even though she can move around...still loves to snuggle and be held all day long!

I can't believe we are about 4 months from her 1st Birthday! With how fast the fall always goes and all of our fun activities...it will be here in no time!

A few firsts!

Today, our fun playdate was made even more exciting by a visit by the fire department! One of the moms accidently locked her little girl in her car...so I called 911! They were here in NO time at all and had her out in like 15 seconds! Then after, all the kids got stickers and were allowed to climb around the truck!

And another first...Miss Ainsley playing peekaboo in her crib...her new favorite game with Bubba (oh and he is the ONLY family member that gets called by name!)

First time to wear Taggie as a hat!

First time to get mommy all to herself!

First time to catch these hilarious faces on camera!

First time to stand up in her crib!

First time for Evan to get a an NFL players autograph :) Last Saturday, we went to watch the AZ Cardinals practice in Flagstaff! We had so much fun!

Damarco Sampson...

Max Hall...

Through the people...Larry Fitzgerald...His line was HUNDREDS LONG!

Ryan Williams...GO HOKIES!

First day of preschool...Evan LOVES preschool :) He has had two "great" days! Has completed all his little projects and Ms. Amy said he LOVES doing art and puzzles during center time.

And...first time getting her growling on video :)

And...this was taken the first day she started REALLY crawling all over the floor! SHE IS SO MUCH FASTER IN JUST A WEEK!

My little artist

As I put in my prior post, each week Evan and I are doing a special art project. Well here is week 2! I was thinking we would do a sun catcher this week but when I offered that project idea, he said he wanted to make a tree. I did something similar to this in my classroom one year but out of a lunch sack...so figured an larger brown grocery sack would work. So, here you go! Here is Evan's tree. He decided to paint it and then I pulled out some tissue for little flowers...since the state tree is the Palo Verde :)

Also new news this week! Evan will be going to Preschool every Tuesday! I am very excited! My friend Amy is doing a preschool at her house so Evan will get some independent time in a very comfortable environment and Ainsley and I will get some together time! Tomorrow night we have an open house where we get to go see the little school she has set up in her house :) I am sure I will post a pic on Friday for his first day (it's a different first day this week)!
