Our trip to the North Pole!

Yesterday, we rode the Polar Express!  We loaded up early in the morning and headed to Flagstaff to get on a train to the North Pole ;).  The kids were pretty good in the car but were so tired, hungry, and restless towards the end!  YAY for Buffalo Wild Wings!  We grabbed some lunch and watched the Tech game before heading to the hotel!

Then, we headed to the hotel...in hopes of these kids taking nap....hmmm....that didn't happen until about 30 minutes before it was time for us to leave!

OUT!  Yep...mommy took a little nap too!  I am so old...still worn out from shopping black friday!  LOL

All ready in our jammies about to leave the hotel!  We all had matching jammies...Mama bear, Papa bear, and Little bears!  Evan got to wear super cool Lightening McQueen Slippers!

WE ARE HERE!  The NORTH POLE!  We saw Santa, Mrs. Claus, Reindeer, the Toy factory, Santa's house, elves, and Twinkle Berry Trees!

And Santa came on the train to give each child a special present!  A bell of their very own!

Then, it was time to head back to the station!  Lots of singing and aisle dancing on the way back!  Mims...do you have a pic of that? 

We picked up some late night dinner and headed back to the hotel.  We were all cracking up because Evan talks himself to sleep everynight but since we were all in the same room last night while he was going to sleep...it was hilarious to hear what he was saying!  "Tri-ceratops, T Rex, diploducous, all those guys" "Mommy sleeping, daddy sleeping, MJ sleeps, Mims sleeping...I tired, goonight (then he would fake snore)"  He must have done this sequence like 20 times before finally falling asleep LOL.  Oh and Ainsley, doesn't do hotels. (period)

We had such a great time on our litttle adventure!  What a great start to this holiday season!

Gobble Gobble!

Happy Thanksgiving!  Yesterday, we started our day with a little breakfast and parade watching!  Evan loved watching all the floats!  Then, we celebrated Thanksgiving at my mom's house with my grandparents, Mom, brother, Todd, and Cheska!  We had a great meal!  Thanks mom for doing so much yummy cooking! 

 So Thankful for these two!

 OOOOOOOO full plate!  He tried a little bit of everything!  And loved eating it on a special Thanksgiving plate that only him and sister had.

 Ainsley LOVED her first Thanksgiving!  She ate SOOOOO much!  I think she was in the chair for like an hour!  The girl LIVES to eat, seriously!  These pictures were taken in order, and you will soon see that Evan had dessert WAY before she was done!  She was so funny nodding and shaking her head when she wanted more...LOL

We had a very relaxing day after lunch with lots of football!  :)  Then, after the kids went down...I went out for some late night shopping with my friend Jackie!  The crowds were crazy but it was so much fun!  We didnt get home until 4am and only came back because Ainsley woke up (poor baby).  I can't remember the last night I stayed out so late!  Thanks Jackie for braving it with me...it was a blast!
