Our Trip to the Children's Museum

Saturday, we visited the Tucson Children's Museum!  We absolutely love the phoenix one so was excited to try this one too!  It had some similarities but smaller and pretty different.

This is such a good idea!  Plastic ocean characters cut in half to make puzzles.  They reattached with magnets!  Fun!

SHOPPING TIME!  The kids spent FOREVER here.  Also had a big kitchen area with working appliances (toys that looked real).

And outside there is building blocks (below), sandboxes, and playhouses!

We had a great day together as a family!  We finished off a great day at 5 guys!!!!  OH it is so dangerous having one SO close to our house!  YIKES!

Just around the house!

The last few days we have had some time around the house!  This weekend, I was under the weather, Sunday Ainsley got sick and Tuesday Evan was sick!  AH!  So we have just been hanging in a little bit and having some fun around the house :)  And yes, I have been a bad blogger!  But even just hanging out around the house has been crazy!  LOL

Evan is loving the back patio, he rides his bike up and down it constantly...and I love that I can watch him out the kitchen window!

And it was pretty warm at the end of last week so we were able to use our water table!

On Sunday Morning, we got a pretty nasty storm! We haven't been here for a Tucson storm yet...though honestly, guess I should say Oro Valley (we are 14 miles from Tucson LOL and it is chilly-er). Here we ran to get breakfast...we are facing the mountains...but they were covered in clouds.

 

After the clouds lifted a bit, I took these pics in our backyard.  The mountains were covered in snow!  After Monday's rain there were even more covered!  It was so cool!

We are definetly enjoying the weather down here. The higher elevation means colder nights and cooler days and we are really enjoying it. Most houses here have a fireplace and we use our right now almost everynight! Plus, it is still desert but everything it is greener. You can see the hills and mountains are green. It's really pretty. How could I EVER give up that view?! Lucky we have a year to find that perfect house! Even though we don't really know many people yet, we do think we have picked the right town!

On Monday, Evan was DONE with the rain.  "RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!"

He had cabin fever so wanted to go out soooo bad!  He was throwing a little bit of a fit so Ainsley kept trying to shove a paci in his mouth...haha

Well finally it stopped that afternoon, so we took the Jeep out!

It's been nice being on a coldisac...that way he can drive in the street easier.

Well that's all for now!  Hoping we are all healthy and ready to go from now on!  This weekend we have some fun plans so hoping we get to do it all!
