Easter FUN and MORE!

We had a great Easter! Evan just loved hunting eggs and enjoying all sorts of fun treats :) Though, to be honest, I was totally waiting for him to throw up LOL. We got up early that morning and he found his Easter Baskets "Bunny Treats". He hunted eggs around our house, then we headed over to Mimzy's for an egg hunt there (and the adults had a silly string fight...i need some pics of that!). We cooked out and had a great time with family. The pictures are slightly out of order...but oh well :)

Evan and Uncs playing Operation I tell you what though....not like my operation...you know it doesn't vibrate anymore when you make mistakes??!! ALSO, I got this game for $2!)

Egg hunt time!

Basket from Mims

I am one PROUD mama!

I think this is one of my most favorite pics EVER

Enjoying a few treats from his eggs! Everytime he found one...he had to open it right away and sample the treats :)

Checking out his Easter Baskets from Mimi and Big Dada and Mommy and Daddy

And now for the "MORE" part of the post...here he is playing outside yesterday...LOVE this cheesy smile!

Some tummy time!

And last week, my friend Sallie came over a few times! I just LOVE her! You know those friends that you never have to "catch up" with because you just pick up right where you left off? That's us! Her little boy Gideon is SO cute and loved watching big boy Evan!

Sweet boy!

Ainsley girl just hanging out!

And...Bath time! Last night these two took a bath together :) And, of course Evan HAD to be in sissy's tub :)

And, to end the post...A few of Evan playing "pirates :)"

Rolling Over!

Just Miss Ainsley :)

Ainsley, this post is ALL about YOU!

Our little sweat pea is doing great! Growing up so fast but getting to that stage where she LOVES to play...which is just so much fun! She loves playing peekaboo, laying on her back and rolling over, her excersaucer (though HATES the jumperoo haha), swinging, sitting in her bumbo and puts EVERYTHING in her mouth :) She giggles and squeals like crazy, especially at her brother! She can scoot ALL over the place on her back, which is quite funny. She has developed a little bit of separation anxiety with mommy but I would expect that from alot of babies with mommies that stay home...we are working on it though :) She is also getting on much more of a routine....a short morning nap and about an hour afternoon nap...other than that...she is awake! We have started rice cereal (above) and avacado in the little baby feeder (below). So far, it is going well. I made all of Evan's baby food and looks like it is time to hit up Sprouts!
OH! Almost forgot...her 4 month check up went great! Her head had improved greatly so no need for a helmet :) She weighed 15 lbs 12 oz and was 26.5 inches long. Unless needed, no appts until 6 months!

Well...time for some pics!

Having an afternoon snack :)

Mommy and Ainsley on Easter...she looked SO pretty!
My little bunny!

This pic was taken on her 4 month Birthday! She ended up in a diaper after spitting up on her outfit!

Checking out her feet!

Watching her brother! She is very curious :)

She looks like she is ready to go exercise! HAHA!

All ready for night night!

Stealing a turn in her bubba's chair...

AWWWW look at this little grin!

Well, if you haven't seen it already...I posted a video this morning down below :) Also, working on our Easter post!

This just melts my heart!

I seriously feel like the luckiest mom in the world to have TWO such happy children that love each other so much! Also, I am video tapping all of this so that one day when they are older and fight...I can show them! LOL

Spring time FUN!

The weather has been so nice here in AZ. I say spring...but really it is almost summer! The pool is 78 degrees and all ready for some swimming! We have been spending LOTS of time outside at parks, splash pads, zoo, or hanging out in backyards with neighbors and friends. Our neighbors across the street that recently moved in have a 2 year old little boy and Evan has been having so much fun with him :)

Ainsley usually wakes up in the morning at around 7-7:30 then goes back down for a little nap. That leaves Evan and I some time in the morning to hang out just the two of us. Since she is sleeping, we don't put on the TV, but read books together, draw, paint, play trains, eat breakfast at his little table (he loves when we sit there with him)...it has been great to be able to dedicate that time to him. And then when he naps...I do the same with her :)

Evan's new thing is writing words...I write it and then he does....now, it doesn't look really anything like mine...but I am so proud of him trying :) That being said, any shirts, signs, books with letters...he is identifying like crazy! He can repeat count to 10 but will point and count objects (when prompted) to five.

My little artist :)
Saturday night, Todd and my mom took us out to a Mexican Restuarant at Desert Ridge. It was very similar to Hula Hut in Austin so I LOVED it! After we ate, Evan (and MJ) played in the Splash Pad! Mommy and Daddy pic...we don't get to many of these anymore :)

Cool place, huh?

No pics of Ainsley...she was asleep in the stroller.

We have also been having so much fun during the day with our mom's group! Everyday there is something different to do and even weekend and family activities. On Friday, the Goodyear Splash Pad had their Grand Opening, so we couldn't miss that! So, we went with Evan's best friends, Camden and Kaylee...

AWWWWW...Such good buddies

And...I know I shouldn't think pics of Evan throwing fits are funny...but this is a blog and since they are put into a book...I want him to see when he is older that even though he is the sweetest boy...he still threw some good fits! I can't get him to smile for pics anymore! I guess I just need other mommies to take the pics! Thanks Jackie!

Mommy and Ainsley

Pretty girl! I feel like Ainsley is not going to have any self-esteem issues because Mommy and Daddy are always telling her how beauitful she is! :)

This is our Flat Stacie project we are doing for my mom's class at school! Evan tried to take her to night night today, but I was a little worried she wasn't durable enough! We take her with us and snap pics of her in the different places we go...then at the end...make a poster about Stacie's adventures!

For some reason, my little point and shoot camera pics are fuzzy UNLESS they are taken outside...so sorry about poor quality...

Play time! Ainsley LOVES toys! And the funniest part about it? She grabs them with her feet!

And, these are out of order....but here are a few more from the Splash Pad on Friday...

these were taken with my camera...

Camden brought these cool water balls!

More attitude...

Amy and Ainsley

CUTE!

Another cute pic of Ainsley...

Well...check for more soon...I already started an A Little Bit of Ainsley post :) But she is starting to wake up...so no time right now :)
