A Fun Filled Few Days!!!!

We have had a fun-filled few days here at the Lindberg house :)

Saturday night we went to our friends Matt and Kendra's son Brendan's 6th birthday party!  It was a "Ninjago" theme!  We all had such a great time!!!!  And you can totally tell she used to be a teacher because she had all sorts of cute themed food and activities for the kids to do! 

I took some pics for her in case she forgot :) 

These were my favorite!!!!!  SO cute and SOOOOO yummy!  I think I ate like 5 pieces...haha :)

Birthday Boy!

And the yucky weather finally cleared so the boys went for a little night swim! 

Then on Sunday morning, we drove up to Phoenix to celebrate my friend Jackie's daughters birthday at Chuckee Cheese!  Evan and Ainsley had a blast!

Ok, that's all I got when I was there :(  We stayed the night and had a nice dinner with my mom and brother!  Then after a playdate and lunch Monday headed back!  We sure do miss our PHX family and friends...I totally got teary eyed when we had to say goodbye!

That being said, I have met some really GREAT moms down here with some super sweet kids!  Yesterday, our playgroup went to the firestation in Oro Valley for a tour!  It was so cool and so in depth!  They didn't have a call (though they did do a fake call saying "Oro Valley Moms" over the intercom LOL) so they spent lots of extra time showing us all around and letting the kids explore!

And then all the kids had a turn!  They said it was ok :) 

Then at the end of the tour...they moved one of the trucks out of the bay and let the kids spray the hose!  This was so cool!

And in other news....

Pregnancy update:  Everything going well.  Continuing my weekly shots and starting last week, I now go every two weeks for a cervical swab and exam (ewww) just another preventive of preterm labor.  I feel like the weeks are starting to fly and third trimester is right around the corner!  We are so excited for her to be here but at the same time...I feel unprepared!  Nothing is really organized yet, put together, don't have bedding, etc.  But, it will get done!  WHEW!

And the big Evan news is that he can write his name!!!!!  He is pretty good on the magnadoodle but when it comes to pencil and paper...still needs some practice :)  We have been doing lots of practice and review with letters, sounds, shapes, numbers and I think he is ready to go for the first day of school next Thursday!  We have our parent orientation tonight, meet the teacher next Wednesday...it is all coming up so fast!  HE IS SO EXCITED and I am excited for him!  :) 

We have also been watching LOTS of Olympics around here...like many of you! :)

So anyway, we are keeping busy with gym, playgroups, doc appts, after nap playdates, and starting next week...school!  Can't believe summer is coming to an end...it sure has been a great one!
