Back to School Fun!

This week has been full of back to school festivities and preparations!  All the fun started on Monday when we attended a back to school pool party at my friend Kendra's house!  It was so much fun and so neat to see all the different ages of the kids there!  Her oldest daughter is going into 3rd grade, a son in Kinder, and then little Addie in Ainsley's playgroup!  The kids not only swam but she had the water table, crafts, a sundae bar, and back to school goodie bags!  All sorts of fun for all the ages!!! :)

Ainsley, Addie, and Kate

Little Parker...wasnt going to brave the water table with all the ladies :)

Evan chilling with the older boys!

Lunch time!!!

On Tuesday we also went to another Pool Party and Potluck at Kate and Christian's house from playgroup.  Christian is 4years old but Evan calls him Little Christian (Daddy is big Christian) HAHA.  When we were on the way there, Little Christian's name came up and Ainsley started yelling "Daddy Daddy Daddy!"  I tried to explain it was another Christian but she still cried when we got there and there was no Daddy :(

Didn't manage to get ANY pics!!! BOOOOOOO!  Was either managing both kids at the pool or particpating in the Potluck festivities LOL.  haha!  Right before a doc appt too!  My friend Molly said the trick is weighing backwards...love that idea!!!!! :0

And this morning after Ainsley's gym class...we headed to Evan's meet the teacher!  He has been so excited and asks me constantly when he gets to go!  I was nervous about him leaving me during the day for so long...but I don't think I am going to have anything to worry about!  :)  Today was fun!

A few pic before we left...

I think told them I wanted one where it looks like they like eachother hahah!  They are standing so far apart in the top pic!

Seriously mom?

AWWWW...there we go!

And I snapped a few phone pics while we were there.  I knew Mimzy and Mimi would want to see them :)

The building.

They had all sorts of table activities set up for the kids to do while the teachers greeted and visited with each family.

And yep...those dishes are CERAMIC.  Terrified Christian. LOL.  Teachers said they are trying to make it as close to real world as possible!

Making his name tag for his cubby.

Examining some bean pods.

UMMM....this is a whisper phone...Evan did it right and thought it was HILARIOUS!  I had a class set when I taught but kept one...and need to find it for him.  Ainsley thought it was an elephant trunk...HAHAHAHA!

Signing himself in!

His name tag on the cubby he chose!

He actually cried when we left because he wanted to stay!  And I was pushing back tears the whole time because I was so happy he was so thrilled about it all.  HE IS GETTING SO OLD!  Very excited for him to start tomorrow and cant wait to hear all about his day!
