I figured I should write a little bit more about our new little addition than just a pic! :)
Christian and I actually found out the DAY we moved here! We were both SUPER shocked! We figured a 3rd was in a our future but had kind of decided to spread them out a little bit. Get setttled down here, buy a new home, etc before adding another :) Well...2012 is indeed going to be action packed! haha!
We told our family and a few close friends after finding out. But, I have had some yucky cramping so wanted to wait before sharing with everyone until I had an ultrasound, blood work, and everything was ok. I had a doctors appointment a month ago but just for bloodwork, etc. Anyway we had our first appointment with the doctor on Tuesday and everything looks great! Yes, I am showing very early. So if you have happened to see pics of me or friends that I have seen, it is noticeable that I am pregnant :) 3rd time around and when you think about it...I have pregnancies 14 months apart...this body just knows what to do. AH!
That being said on Tuesday, when the doctor was giving me an exam, immediately said "let's check this out" and did a tummy ultrasound to make sure there was just one! AH! I had a mild freak out for about 3 seconds until she did it! haha! So...just one! So already bloated and swollen! I will post a picture later this week so you can see.
In terms of how I feel, I seem to get sicker each pregnancy :/ . Evan's pregnancy was so easy! I just wanted to EAT! haha. With Ainsley I felt sick for weeks and same thing here. Even though I know it's temporary and a good sign...it still kind of stinks! :) I have read that is is very common. After being pregnant once, your body just takes to the hormones so fast. The other thing I have noticed is EXTREME EXHAUSTION. I could literally sleep allllllll day! Counting down until that second trimester energy surge!
What do I think it is? HMMMMMM......almost everyone I have told asks "What do you want to have?" Honestly...since I have one of each...TOTALLY doesn't matter. Maybe a laid back, easy going baby?! I go back and forth whether I think its a boy or a girl. Evan thinks its a girl. Christian thinks girl. But my grandmother said it BETTER BE A BOY...and I really dont want to let her down :) And I know most of the family is Team Boy...so...that may be a good bet! :) Maybe a little toe headed boy like Daddy?! Oh he was the cutest little thing! And we have a cute boy name that I really love! (though I am sure it will change a million times!) Girls are a blast! Love all things frilly! Love the idea of the girls being able to share a room...guess if they want too. Ainsley is quite the handful so the idea of two of her is kind of scary! AH! jk. That ALL being said...everyone then asks if I will find out...and I said "Oh Yes!" There is NO way we have the will power! Though, we are scheming a way in which us and our families here and on the East Coast can all find out at the same time! So, it may not be in the ultrasound room :) I know being surprised in delivery would be SOOOOO cool...but, I will want to get crib bedding and a few gender specific things :)
So the big day is November 8th! Very exciting and I KNOW will be here before we know it! Though is it bad that I am kind of hoping for about 10 days early because I think bringing the baby home in a Halloween costume would be SOOOOOOO cute!
Keep ya posted on how it is all going!!!!
In other news: Evan is registered and ready to go for preschool in the fall! We got a call a few weeks ago that there was a spot avaliable in the school I REALLY wanted so I literally dropped everything and ran over there to get him all signed up! I am very excited for him to go but also kind of sad! My baby is growing up. But, he is READY! So curious, bright, and hasnt stopped asking about this school! We visited a few after, since I wasnt sure he would get in :/ And each time he told me he liked the other one better. I put myself on every waiting list they had and even though he didn't get into the time slot we wanted...we are hoping another spot will free up in the class we were hoping for. But at least he is in and each of our other children now will be too! The school is inquiry, problem solving, and creativity based...and I know he is going to thrive in that environment!
