This morning we went to TREK ranch with the Oro Valley Moms group! We had a great time! The kids were so excited about were standing by the door for like 30 minutes before it was time to go!
The ranch was really neat! Everything you would expect :) And the mission is really cool too. A theraputic ranch with the basic principle of community service to children and adults with special needs. They also do stuff with school districts, Ronald McDonald house, hospitals, and hold many events for organizations, like Tucson Moms and camps.
Evan petting a minuature pony. Ainsley wasnt a fan of the big animals section.
Donkey!
Baby goat...about 5 weeks old! So cute!
Lots of bunnies! And the kids all got to feed them.
They were all a littl skiddish at first...
But then warmped up!
Chickens! See the large brown one the left?! While we were in the coop...she laid an egg! The ranch lady tried to pick it up to show the kids but she got really defensive and sat on it! That means it's fertilized! VERY COOL!
But....then one of the kids found another egg on the ground! This one was "cold" so that means it's not fertilized so we could touch it.
After seeing all the animals: goats, pigs, horses, mini horses, bunnies, ducks, chickens...we got to walk around at our leisure and the kids got to see everything they wanted too for a second time.
Ainsley attempting to feed the bunnies corn...AND yes, she did take a few nibbles...SOOOOOOO gross! I told her "Ainsley, that's for the bunnies, feed the bunnies" and she literally THREW it at one! UGH poor bunny!
We had a great time and even though I have a bloody nose and TERRIBLE headache (allergic to like ALL furry friends) it was worth it before the kids had a blast!
And just a few pics from the weekend!
Yes...Ainsley uses the potty now! Not routinely but whenever she ask we put her on and she usually goes!
Oh these two creating a roucous in Target
And Saturday night...the fun game in this house was who could get the sticky hand highest on the wall!
