Mims, Todd, MJ and Cheska headed down to Tucson this weekend for lots of Easter Fun! They came down Friday afternoon and that night we went out to a really yummy Mexican food restuarant! We also got to meet some of Todd's good friends that live in Foothills. They have 3 kids one of which is a 3 year old boy! They live in one of the areas we are looking to buy a home and know everything there is to know about Tucson! They were so fun to talk to and gave us some great advice about schools, houses, and things to do!
Saturday morning, we (well Ainsley napped) all dyed eggs! I have NEVER dyed eggs before and was so excited to try it out! (mom always thought it was too messy...haha)

Saturday evening we headed to Trail Dust Town. It was an old movie set built in the 50's. After a fire in the 70's burned some of it down...it was moved to a new location and restored! It is such a neat little western town! It had a general store, a few restuarants, rides, western shoot out shows, icecream shop, a train...we had a great time!
Here's where we ate! Pinnacle Peak Steaks! Christian was so bummed because he intended to wear a tie and totally forgot! If you do they cut it off and hang it on the wall with your name LOL
While we were waiting for our table...we got to see a western shootout show!
At first he was not so sure...
This guy kept getting in so many of my pictures! He was so funny!
Pinnacle Peak had some yummy food! And I think Evan was most excited about the balloon guy! He chose a penguin! Not sure why.
But it was very cute!
And MJ got this shotgun you see in the photo!
After dinner, Evan couldn't wait to go on the train ride!

Saturday night so much fun! What a great place to take visitors! Evan cant stop talking about it!
Sunday morning the kids woke up bright and early and were so excited to see if the Easter bunny had come!
Evan loved finding all the eggs the bunny hid.

She grew! haha. not really...but did move the stool in from the bathroom in hopes of reaching candy. SO sneaky! haha!

Once everyone arrived...we got the kids all dressed in their Easter best! :) Why can't I get them both smiling at the same time?! I think I may try to photoshop the best of each of them :) haha

Mims and Todd hid eggs in the backyard. Once the kids found 3, they got to come to this treat basket Mims made and choose something! Cute idea!
Ainsley had SOOOO much fun finding eggs too and Uncle MJ was so good at helping her.

Funny story - Mimi gave Evan a swim suit and rash guard...he put it on right away (over his clothes) and said "Ok Mommy time for swimming!" I said "Bubba...we don't have a pool"..."Well GO GET ONE!" he said! OHHHHH OK! hahaha ;)
Ainsley got some VERY cute frilly girly goodies! Mimi had such great taste in clothes!

After a yummy Easter lunch, everyone headed back to Phoenix! Thank you guys for coming!!!! We had such a great weekend full of family and fun!!!!
