Happy New Year!!!

We hope you all had a FABULOUS NEW YEAR'S EVE!!! Isn't it CRAZY how life changes in a year???!!! WOW! Last year we were greatly awaiting the arrival of our little guy and let me tell you..any thoughts. excitement, or expectations 2009 would bring were a molecule of what was to come. Being parents is definetly the highlight of this last year and will be the highlight of the many years to come!!! Sometimes I think my life was pretty lame before this little guy... :)

Well...on to the good stuff...

Here is what we have discovered gets Evan through the dining out experience....such a little Italian boy...

And when we ate Mexican food...it was chips and a quesidilla (not pieces...THE WHOLE THING)!!!

We have definetly noticed some food quirks with Evan...he is just too smart! He does not want torn pieces of table food...he wants whole pieces and if others are eating when he is...he wants whats on THEIR plates...and trust me...he knows if it isn't.

And here is proof that we have done away with the infant pacifier..yeah I know...most people wein the pacifier at a year...but I guess we just switched styles...haha...these pacifiers are fun because you can get them in all different colors...perfect for matching outfits!

And perhaps Evan's new year's resolution is to be less like a puppy...haha...I just love when he sticks things in his mouth and leaves it there.

Lastly, a year ago today my Aunt Jo passed away....thinking of you Old Biddie...always in my heart :)

WOW! It's almost 2010!

Well...I couldn't think of a title for this post, so I figured I would just put the random thought in my mind :) I can't believe in 3 weeks, Evan will be ONE YEAR OLD!!! I am having so much fun planning the little things for his party!!!
Anyways...on to more pictures from our trip! We are in Williamsburg until Saturday and have some exciting plans until then. Tonight is the VA Tech game and tomorrow the Lockharts come down to visit!
Well...Evan just really wanted Marley's bow...and took it upon himself to take it out!!!

Poor Cousin Marley...
The two of them play so well together. Here she is showing him how to use his new Ball Popper she got him!
Too much holiday excitement!
All ready to go out! Got his purse and Phone ready! PS...Evan has switched to BIG BOY pacifiers...We have been unsuccessful with this at home...but he LOVED Marley's...WAHOO!

Well...it has been quite CHILLY here...so he has been all bundled up! He was so bundled...he couldn't sit up straight!!! Totally reminded us of the kid from Christmas Story...He just laid there in the middle of the floor on his back.
Having so much fun with his new toys!!!

More to come in 2010!!!!

Christmas Eve and Christmas in Williamsburg!

Merry Christmas!!! Excuse the yucky nose...Evan has a little cold :( So...right after I took this picture, He let go and stood up all by himself! Of course, camera was already put away! He has been standing unassisted lately which is VERY exciting but at the same time scary that my baby will be walking soon!

We are spending the week in Williamsburg with Grandad, Grandnan, and Aunt Sarah! We are having so much fun. So nice to get a break from the desert and get to experience some winter weather. It is pretty chilly and some snow is on the ground. It is so fun to see Evan all bundled up.

These pics are a little out of order, but that is ok...Here is Evan in his Christmas Eve jammies with Aunt Sarah
Complete with Snowman Slippers! PS..EVAN is 11 months old!!!!
Here are some pics before the Christmas Eve party!

Evan...where's your smile???

And...he has discovered stairs! Kind of SCARY! He climbed up 4 all by himself! YIKES!

Silly Lindberg Boys!
How cute is this puppy sweater?

Christmas Morning!

Aunt Sarah...WE LOVE EVAN'S STEP STOOL!!!!
And as you can see...so does he!
Fireman rain slicker!!! TOO CUTE!

It was a great Christmas!!! And was so much fun with our little guy! Oh how life changes in a year!!!!

In less than a month...EVAN WILL BE 1 YEAR OLD!!!!

The Christmas Festivities Have Begun!

Tis the Season for FAMILY, FUN, and unFORGETTABLE memories!

Sitting in Mommy's old rocking chair :)

Here are the pics from my mom's camera of our family Christmas Party on Saturday! It was so fun! We did a white elephant gift exchange, ate, played left-right-center (SOOOO FUN!), and just hung out and chatted! It was a BLAST having everyone together at my mom's new house!

Later that night...we let Evan and Megan (my first cousin :) ) decorate a gingerbread house and well things got PRETTY messy...so they ended up in the tub!

Totally wacked me in the nose!
Sneaking a taste!
Megan holding "the baby"...haha
Tonight...we went out to eat then had Christmas with my mom and brother! Evan loved opening all his presents! It was so much fun for...ME too! He got some fun stuff...that we had to play with right away! He was so overstimulated...I couldn't for the life of me get his attention in many pictures! I thought it was pretty funny when he started going to the tree and banging or climbing on the presents! :)

All you mommies and daddies out there...Have you seen this??? This is the coolest thing ever!!! Look it up "Elf on a Shelf"
Yikes...I think he went a little crazy with the apple juice...check out that spot! (That is why the rest of the pics he is in his jammies!)
THANKS, UNCLE MJ!
Elmo!
HAHA...he started climbing with excitement!

He looks so tired...but just kept going! HE CRASHED in the car!
We all say he is a little linebacker...but maybe an NBA star?

A Mess!

Though a pretty devoted Texas Fan...my mom is very fair with college gear :)
Mom...thanks for an AWESOME Christmas! Evan is so loved...well and SPOILED!!! :) Christian just can't wait to spend away his giftcard, wear his new shirts, and chow down on all that candy! I just LOVE my new jammies, UT wear, clothes, and can't wait to take Evan out in the BIKE TRAILER!!!

These last couple days have been a BLAST! In a few days we head to visit Christian's family and the fun will continue!

Scroll down for the post from earlier today!
