Labor Day Fun!

So before we get into Labor Day fun...thought I should post some pics of the crazy storm we had on Sunday!  We get TONS of monsoons here but this was even crazier because we got hail!

What's even more weird is our friends 2 miles away didn't get ANY hail!  Unpredictable AZ weather!

So back to Labor Day :)

Christian started marinating the night before and woke up at 2am to get the smoker going!!!!  He woke up every hour after that to check the progress!  So dedicated!  And it paid off with an AMAZING meal!  We love our smoker!

And Monday was Virginia Tech's first football game! Evan couldn't wait to wear is VT outfit and Ainsley looked so precious in her sundress!  GO HOKIES!

After the meat was done...we packed it up and headed over to Matt and Kendra's for some swimming and TEXAS BBQ!

Evan and Daddy...no more puddle jumper for this guy!  Refuses to wear it!  Just wants to swim by himself :)

Ainsley and Addie playing in the water table!

This is for your Kiera!  I took this of her being goofy and she said "Please don't put that on facebook!!!!".  Well...I didn't put it there but figured it was blog worthy :)

Baby pools are fun at all ages :)

And of course...so crazy tricks that make me CRINGE!

After our BBQ...the kids got to make their own sundae!  Adults too!!! :0

And a group pic of the kids!

Thanks Ritchey family for having us over!  We had such a great time and were so glad you enjoyed the BBQ!!!! :)

Pregnancy update:  31 weeks :)  Honestly feeling good but did go into triage Saturday morning.  Woke up at 4:30 am with contractions.  NOT super painful but def contractions.  They continued and at 7:30 called doctor and she told me to go into hospital since I am high risk.  They hooked me up to a monitor and confirmed I am contracting but no cerival change.  SO YAY!  Very good news there!  The shots are doing there job and I am taking it easy as best as I can.  After telling the doc yesterday that I am really hoping to go to 40 weeks, she said 40 would be great but her goal is to get me to 36, with this being a high risk pregnancy.  Other than that...feet are starting to swell but blood pressure is good.  Have been enjoying getting all of BG#2 things ready to go for her big day.  It has been so fun going through all of Ainsley's clothes and brings back so many memories of her being tiny :)

Ainsley is looking so old! She is going to look even bigger when BG #2 comes along. Praying you make it to full term and everything goes as planned. :)
