Family Vacation to OBX 2011

We had such a great time on our first family of four vacation to the Outer Banks! It is so pretty there and has such a secluded, local feel. We feel so lucky that Mimi and Big Daddy have a house there that we all get to go to spend time together! I just think it is so special that all the grandkids will get to go every summer as they are growing up! We have been gone a few weeks and Evan still talks about "Beach House".

We did so much on our vacation! Went to the beach, played in the pool, ate yummy food, watched Big Daddy fly kites, did tie dye, went shopping, watched movies, went night swimming...

Lots of hanging out with Cousin Marley...Though we so wished we lived closer! Evan had so much fun with her. She is like the perfect mix of girly and tom boy! LOVES dresses, pink, and bows BUT loves to tackle, play pirates, trains, build forts :)
