The weather has been so nice here in AZ. I say spring...but really it is almost summer! The pool is 78 degrees and all ready for some swimming! We have been spending LOTS of time outside at parks, splash pads, zoo, or hanging out in backyards with neighbors and friends. Our neighbors across the street that recently moved in have a 2 year old little boy and Evan has been having so much fun with him :)
Ainsley usually wakes up in the morning at around 7-7:30 then goes back down for a little nap. That leaves Evan and I some time in the morning to hang out just the two of us. Since she is sleeping, we don't put on the TV, but read books together, draw, paint, play trains, eat breakfast at his little table (he loves when we sit there with him)...it has been great to be able to dedicate that time to him. And then when he naps...I do the same with her :)
Evan's new thing is writing words...I write it and then he does....now, it doesn't look really anything like mine...but I am so proud of him trying :) That being said, any shirts, signs, books with letters...he is identifying like crazy! He can repeat count to 10 but will point and count objects (when prompted) to five.

AWWWWW...Such good buddies

And...I know I shouldn't think pics of Evan throwing fits are funny...but this is a blog and since they are put into a book...I want him to see when he is older that even though he is the sweetest boy...he still threw some good fits!
I can't get him to smile for pics anymore! I guess I just need other mommies to take the pics! Thanks Jackie!
Mommy and Ainsley
Pretty girl! I feel like Ainsley is not going to have any self-esteem issues because Mommy and Daddy are always telling her how beauitful she is! :)
This is our Flat Stacie project we are doing for my mom's class at school! Evan tried to take her to night night today, but I was a little worried she wasn't durable enough! We take her with us and snap pics of her in the different places we go...then at the end...make a poster about Stacie's adventures!

For some reason, my little point and shoot camera pics are fuzzy UNLESS they are taken outside...so sorry about poor quality...
