The weather here in Phoenix has been beautiful! It is getting quite warm but, we LOVE it! And...yesterday was our first official day of swimming in the pool! Evan has gone walking around on the baja step a few times but yesterday actually went into the pool with Dad! I was shopping with my mom so there are no pics of them swimming, just before when Christian got his suit on...We are going again this afternoon after a B-Day party and I promise to take some pics. Christian did say he put his entire face in twice and blew bubbles...YAY EV!!!!
Little blurry...Christian said he was too excited to sit still!
Last Sunday, we went to the zoo with our friends Erin, Danny, and their daughter Maleah. Evan of course, had a blast! NO FEAR...I think he would literally stick his hand in a jaguar cage. And we had to really watch him at this zoo...because the animals are literally right there. He got into a total stare down with an Emu! And...he just loved the petting zoo, feeding the giraffes, and stingrays! Was very upset that I wouldn't let him got swim in the tank!
Other than that...this week was pretty normal, work, home, play outside, dinner, bed...He LOVES to be outside! Right when he get home, he goes and stands by the back door! So cute. He is also trying to run all over the house and is getting into EVERYTHING!!!!! And plays with about 20 things are one time...tickle hands, tonka trucks, blocks, trains, Elmo, Milk Jug with play cookies (though he put his own snack in it today! such a stinker), guitar, takes his clothes out of the drawers...etc! But, he is so much fun! So full of personality! I just can't wait to be home full time with him!
Enjoying an afternoon snack! He eats an entire apple whole. That's another thing he is becoming soooo picky about...he does not want to sit in a high chair (Mama doesnt sit in one) and he does not want his book cut up! (see above pic with banana at top of blog)
OUT! Aunt Chris...doesnt this outfit look so cute on him?!
This was his new friend he picked out from Kohl's...they are doing Dr. Suess books and toys for $5 right now. Carried him around all over the place when he got him...now he is in his crib :)
Taking a dip afterschool one day! I am soooo glad we got this big baja step! Perfect for him!
