My little taste tester!

When I started giving Ainsley food Evan wanted NOTHING to do with trying it...NOW...everytime I make something, he wants a bowl of his own. He loves sweet potatoes and "banana sauce" :) Check him out...such a HAM!

Ainsley is 5 months old!

I know I seriously start every month post like this but....I seriously can't believe it has been 5 months!!! AH! Time felt like it went fast with Evan but with Ainsley...it's even faster!!!! Some Evan's friends are starting preschool in the fall...I just can't believe we are at that point!

Any ways...this is about Ainsley and all the wonderful things our little sunshine can do! Ainsley is just so much fun! Even though she has a serious mommy preference...I think she just has such a great personality! She loves being around people and is SOOOO curious about everything around her! Her smile lights up a room and I love the sound of her giggles and squeals!

According to the baby book, there is a list of things she should be able to do...well...she is TOTALLY on track and even able to do most of the "may EVEN be able to do" stuff. She is starting to sit up, but does still have a forward lean. Can switch toys from hand to hand. She blows raspberries and LAST NIGHT....gave kisses! Literally puckered up and made the sound and everything! When she is upset, she will say "MAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MAAAAAAAAA" and makes a sound that sounds like "HI" when she sees people or when we say it to her. Loves to play in the excersaucer but the pony sounds on the jumperoo scare her :) She is totally out growing the swing...it wont even move...and we are so bummed because she loves it. She rolls ALL over the place and tries to push around on her tummy with her legs.

She is enjoying food more everyday! And weighing in at 17.8 pounds...she is definetly ready! She has had bananas, sweet potatoes, avacadoes, and rice cereal (does not like this). She has started drinking water from a cup (still doesnt do a bottle).

She is such a blessing and Christian and I constantly say how LUCKY we are to have the two of them!

Some pics of my little diva today...

Mommy's Little Helper

Evan LOVES all things Ainsley, especially feeding her! And, yes, he does steal a few bites for himself (wanted nothing to do with Rice Cereal but LOVES the sweet potatoes)

In addition to feeding her he will...

-Get me new diapers, bibs, burp rags for her

-Wipe her mouth when she spits up

-Helps give her a bath (HAS to have his baths with her now, which is interesting considering she is still in an infant tub haha)

-Clean up her toys

-Always offers to share his snacks (not until she has teeth...my friend told me that is what she says and it totally works)

-Turns on the music/vibration on her bouncer when it turns off

-Fetch her taggie

-Help me do her laundry

-Loves helping me get her up in the morning "Good Morning Nay-Knee Girl"

-Give her a paci

-PLAY with her when mommy cooks dinner

-Showers her with hugs and kisses

A few outings!

Here are a few pics from just a few fun little activities we have done in the last week! Monday, we went to the zoo! I LOVE having the zoo pass...such a neat place :) so close and we get to go whenever we want!
Yep, she is sideways, but I have turned the pic now twice and it is still happening. LOL

And of course, Evan's favorite part! The Giraffes!

NO fear at all! Just sticks his hand right in there mouth!

And we fed the ducks! Thank you Kaylee for sharing your duck food!

Last Friday afternoon on the way back from the airport, we stopped at the Children's Museum to play for a while! Evan LOVES the children's museum and since most toddlers were napping at this time...we pretty much had the place all to ourselves! It was AWESOME! Yet, I forgot my camera! So these are on my phone :)

Golf on the greenbelt! Sunday night, Christian took Evan over to a greenbelt by our house to hit some balls!

Few Random pics...

Senorita Crazy Legs...this is Ainsley's new nickname! I mean not really but when she is sleeping or laying down playing her legs are CRAZY! She brings them up to her head and slams them down with excitement! It totally wakes us up in the middle of the night! Like her little bracelet I made her?
And Evan, looking so longingly at the pool....Daddy cut his hair the other day...aren't his spikes cute?

Our first family swim!

I say our first "family swim" because this was the first time all 4 of us got in! The boys have been braving it for weeks now, but Mommy and Ainsley wanted to wait for it to get a little warmer :) The weather was perfect this weekend and we spent most of our time in the POOL! Evan LOVES to swim and Ainsley liked it too!

Evan in his swim vest. I really like these because they sort of force them to swim horizontally...which will be good for later with no vest! Last summer we never used any sort of floatation BUT he has NO fear and wants to swim like daddy!

He was having so much fun coming off the wall and getting his ball.

Kicking back...
Swimming to Mommy!

Daddy showing him how to float :)
Ainsley enjoying the pool! Isn't her strawberry suit adorable?!
Daddy's Little girl...

And Sunday, we went swimming too! Our little ladybug! Sunday was a little cooler and she didn't stay in too long at all...

But still managed to get exhausted!
And, Ainsley drank out of a cup for the first time Sunday! She does not like a bottle...but didn't mind the cup :)

The Lindberg Fam wants to congratulate Erin and Justin Porter! They will be new parents in DECEMBER! You guys will be awesome parents! :)

More to come in a bit...ALSO...my post from last week was deleted somehow! AH! So I am going to repost those same pics...
