A nice little Saturday...

This morning we started our day off at Little Gym, then breakfast with the gang and off to Lowe's for Evan's first building class! It was so cute! He made a little Mother's Day Planter (with the help of Daddy, of course). Jaden and Evan earned their first badge for their apron! Each time you complete one of these classes, you receive a different badge to sew on your apron. Too fun! And...they are FREE! Most stores have them every 2 weeks. The next class they are building a catapult...YIKES!

He took his job very seriously..."interested in some fencing?" The people were cracking up at him...pushing around the flat bed, moving wet floor signs, walking down the aisles...




And...he got to have his first experience walking through an automatic door!Then, this afternoon we had a little pool party! After Evan took a 3.5 hour nap, his friends Jaden, Maleah, and Nathan all came over to play and swim! We had so much fun!!! The pool was a little chilly for the moms but the dads and babies LOVED it!

For the party, we put the dogs in the hallway...Evan has so concerned! He was just babbling and telling them all sorts of things! All of our friends kids have big dogs too, so it was perfect because they had no fear...they all keep running down the hall to see the puppies. Jaden was so sweet to give them lots of snacks :)

Mimzy's house sure is a fun place to be! We have had early release the last few days and so this afternoon I thought I would upload some pics that have been on Mimzy's camera a while! ALSO...Evan is having a BLAST in his new turtle sandbox! Which is temporarily a water turtle for the summer...we figured with it being so hot, we should fill it with water! He loves it! Crawls in and out and once there is sand in the box...not sure how much of it is going to stay in!

A Sunday Playdate!

Today, we went to our friends Wes and April's house for a little cook out! Evan had a BLAST!!!! Not only did he get to eat TWO cheddar filled hot dogs, mac n cheese, cookies, but also MARSHMALLOWS! He made the funniest face when he tasted them....he loved them! We all just hung out and let the boys play. They are in the process of putting together a fenced in play area for Jayden and have this cool fort/slide/playhouse thing with tunnels and all! Evan was in pure heaven! Plus a water table...which was hilarious because he kept sticking his face in a blowing bubbles! My little fish out of water :) Next weekend, we are going to take the boys to a water playground which should be so fun! Hopefully it wont be as windy and dusty as today! Also...as you can see...we had to make several wardrobe changes today (he actually went home in another outfit)...first was covered in dirt, cookies, and juice...plus he took his shirt off and then the outfit we borrowed from Jayden got soaked!!!! Such a boy!

It is about time I upload some new pics! Life has been soooo busy lately! With wrapping up the school year and our weekend being full of fun things to do...it has been hard to sit down at the computer! But, I promise to get back on schedule...

The doctor report came back that it was just a mucus plug...THANK GOODNESS! And there have been NO more episodes and besides being a little spacey from medication our little crazy man is back to himself!

Last Saturday we went to the Salsa Fest with our friends Wes and April (their little guy, Jayden) and Danny and Erin (their little sassy momma, Maleah). We had so much fun! It was out at Tempe Town Lake. The kids hung out in the wagon, or as you can see my son tried to pull it and we took frequent breaks on the lawn to let them do run around!

I LOVE that Wes captured this pose, because Evan has been doing this like crazy, squatting down! Last night he did it at Toysrus and the people working thought it was hilarious, like he was bending over to look at the shelves!
Loves to throw things away!


Evan has become so much more independent! Evan though we have to watch him like a hawk because the things he gets into aren't always baby friendly...he loves just wandering around the house looking at everything!

A few little funny stories about Evan:
-Loves to throw everything in the trashcan! When he was at Mimzy's and he was done with his snack bowl and sippy cup....threw it away!

-Hides things all over the house! Bracelets, remotes, cups...I let him have a bagel in his red car the other morning and was shocked that he ate it so fast! Well...he put it in this counting cookie jar toy!!! It was kind of yuck!

-Loves to open and close the toilet seat and play with toilet paper

-Does NOT want to sit in his highchair anymore but will if he is REALLY hungry. And when he is really hungry stands next to it and shouts "MORE MORE MORE"

-Was cuddling with Christian the other day and pointed to him and said "baby". We are thinking it is a sign of affection because since then everyone is a baby!

-LOVES to shut doors and thinks it is HILARIOUS to stick his fingers under!

-Only needs a paci at bed and will put it in there on his own.

-Dances to his fridge phonics games...this poor boy has no rhythm!

-Puts very random things in the bath tub...hangers, clothes...shoes

-Thought Christian was going to have a heart attack...we had been missing a few of Evan's ball popper balls and found them in....Christian's sub woofer in the living room!!!!!!

-Favorite foods...Chicken Nuggets, Pasta, and anything with marinara, yogurt covered blueberries, bananas, raisin bread...and...Veggie Sticks (eating below...though we tell him they are french fries...haha) and Carrot Juice!

Pouting because he can't go outside :(Oh well! I will play in my fort instead!
