Last weekend we went by a western store, Christian wanted a new cowboy hat, didn't find one but Ev sure LOVED trying them on! Daddy is wearing "Woody's Hat".! MJ seems thrilled.

So while in the craft store the other day...we see this. Evan says "Look Mommy, A big wipe!" The ladies there were cracking up!

WORN OUT! Ainsley has been taking a great afternoon nap lately! Didn't quite make it to bed!

Painting daddy a picture for Father's Day...Evan loves projects! Daddy loved it!

Ainsley had her 6 month checkup yesterday and she is looking GREAT! A healthy 19 pounds 1 oz (95th percentile) and 27.8 inches long (off the chart)! And believe it or not...after I told the doc what she eats each day...she said she is not eating enough! WHAT?! She had quite a few shots yesterday and was NOT feeling well...but is much better today!

AND....5 days until VACATION! VA and Outer Banks HERE WE COME!

Sweet little Ainsley! Today, for her 6 month Birthday, we played a little dress-up! A few months ago, I made Ainsley this tutu and she hasn't really had an occasion to wear it! She is going to have her 6 month pictures down while we are on vacation so these were just a little practice!

Ainsley is changing every day! Seems like she is constantly doing something new! A few days ago she said Mama! And I have been trying desperately to try and get her to say it again but I can just get "muuuuuuum!"

She eats just about ANYTHING, Loves to play, grab jewelry, giggle, squeal, see herself in the mirror, and play with her hair bows LOL.

AND...here she is in the dress I MADE her! This is the first time she has worn this also! Too cute!

Eating some breakfast! She LOVES her food now! Pears and Sweet potatoes are by far her favorites so far!

And here she is playing the other day...She was SO tired...as you can tell from these pics :) She fell asleep right after these were taken! HAHA!

Trying to sit! Has since perfected this! But, does still fall back at times.

Ainsley has her check up on Thursday but I have no concerns! She is a happy, healthy, and HILARIOUS little thing! Her and Evan are SO different! Even though she is number 2, I still find myself consulting the baby book when wondering about milestones, etc :)

Ainsley, you have made our little family complete! We are so blessed to have you and your brother :) So many memories in just 6 months of being a family of four and I can't wait for many more! WE LOVE YOU!

An Evening Dip!

Yesterday was Christian's birthday so he decided to take Evan in for a little dip to see what him and mommy have been working on this week! He was very proud! He loved seeing all his "tricks" (as Evan calls it) . His new thing is going under water to get toys (see below) AND wearing goggles! I don't think I will ever be able to get him to swim without them again...LOL...check out pic below where he is actually adjusting them as he swims! haha He did actually get a little injury, hit his chin on the step and bit his tongue...SO his chin is pretty bruised but when I asked if he wanted a BOO BOO pack, said "No Mommy more pool!" :)

We decided some of these pics might be in his ESPN Athlete Bio Video for the 2028 Olympic Games...HAHAHA jk. But, that would be one proud Papa!

After swimming, we all enjoyed some icecream cake! And Evan sang Happy Birthday to daddy! Missed a few words, but sang most of the song! Christian said he had a great birthday!

Super Sports DUDE!

On Saturday, Evan and Daddy started their sports skills class! It is an eight week class with two weeks on each sport: Soccer, Football, Baseball, and Basketball! Evan had never played soccer and I think did great! Even though, he was a little stubborn about not being able to throw the ball HAHA. Here are some pics of him and daddy in class! They did stretches, drills, goals, an obstacle course, slide, got stamps, and ended with a team cheer! It was such a cute class and so fun for me and Ainsley to watch!!! More pics to come in future weeks!

PS...This recent posts have not had much of Ainsley pretty much because I am always either holding her or she is in the front pack at these activities...my poor little girl...she needs more blog time!!!!!
