Weekend at Mimzy's!

This weekend, Christian went Deep Sea Fishing...so we spent the weekend at Mimzy's! He said it was a TON of fun and I guess we have some pretty tasty fish to eat in our near future :)

We had a good time watching movies, hanging out outside, and had a very eventful trip to the mall. Evan is not really the best shopper...is great if you alternate stores with play area but he really needed shoes. And shoes have been interesting for this little one. I am sure other mothers of 1.5 year olds to 2 year olds have noticed their children becoming VERY opinionated and Evan is NO exception! He will tell you exactly what he wants to eat, do, etc! And...recently...very picky about shoes! He REFUSES to wear anything but his pirate crocs and brown sandals (which appear in alot of these pics). He has the cutest Converse and won't even let me put them on! So...his Grandnan gave me the idea to let him choose his own shoes. So, I took this boy to Stride Rite and gave him the lineup. There were 2 pairs he first picked out and then refused to try on 1 of them. So, I was thinking we may be set on one pair when he found these....

He picked them up and said..."COOL DUDE". Well it was all down hill from there and mommy was just THRILLED that they happened to be on SALE! WOOHOO! He looks like such a big boy in his little Saucony running shoes! He was running all over the store in them and refused to take them off (figured this was a good sign). So the sandals are out and these COOL shoes are in!

Last night he also had his first icecream cone! Whenever we get them he always shares with us but we went to Jason's Deli (where you get free icecream) so, we figured we would give it a shot! He LOVED it! I have a phone video of it, but the computer won't process it.

Yes...I realize he has like no pants on in this post! But, I am sorry right when he gets up and I change his diaper...I let him go pants-less :)

In other Evan related news....he is just talking and eating like CRAZY! I am convinced he is about to grow 6 inches (not really). But, it is insane how much he has been eating! Right now, he is totally obsessed with TRAINS, Mickey Mouse, BUZZ, and Nemo (he actually said "fish" yesterday, before that they were all Nemo). Trains are by far the fav though. He talks about CHOO CHOOS constantly! And this boy definetly needs some track because he has been making some pretty nice little marks in our coffee table! :) My friend Jamie and I are planning a trip with our boys to the Scottsdale Train Park, he is going to be in heaven! This is such a fun age!

I am feeling great (besides my ear infections lol)! This little girl moves like CRAZY! ALL day ALL night! This is def what I missed about being pregnant before! So ready for fall and really hoping for a cold front soon!

We thought it would be fun to put on Evan's headpiece to his costume from last year! I LOVE THIS COSTUME!!! I sure hope we can top this adorable-ness this year!!! He was cracking up and so were we!!!

25 weeks and More!

Today, I had my 25 week appt! Baby girl is doing great and measuring a little ahead of schedule. We are now looking at an anticipated due date of December 28th! I am so excited! And even though it is over 3 months away, it feels right around the corner. I am feeling good...just tired :) I keep waiting for that SURGE of energy but with chasing around little Evan all day, that just may not happen. I have though had the itch to get a ton of projects done around the house and have completed most of them! We put some cubbies in our laundry room for shoes, keys, etc and are hanging hooks for hoodies and hats. We hung a shelf in our living room, put away our DVDs, and got a leather ottoman for toys. And...the playroom is DONE! It turned out so cute! I feel like with all the organization we have done, our house seems so much bigger! We also did a bunch of work and rearranging outside in the front and backyard! Before baby girl comes, we have to get Evan's BIG BOY room and the Little Girl nursery done! In a couple of weeks Christian's parents come and I am so excited that Grandnan will be here for a week and I am hoping we can work on these projects together :) And...October 9th we have our 3D ultrasound...so lots of things to happen in the near future!

Evan LOVES uncle MJ's toys "Uncs" as Evan calls him. So...my mom and I were at the new Dollar Tree and saw this lightsaver from $1! Had to get it! HE LOVED IT! Kept him VERY entertained for HOURS!

And then he started hitting MJ with it...YIKES!
I think Evan is totally winning this battle! haha

Fun with photobooth!

Finally...working internet!

The other morning Evan and I played with photobooth on our computer! He thought it was HILARIOUS! Then, on Sunday he was so under the weather I thought it may cheer him up...no such luck, but still a few funny ones!

I have a real post to do with pics and stuff but don't have time right now. Evan doesn't exactly let me use the computer...he wants to play his games and listen to his music...so I have to do most computer type work when he is sleeping.

Last night he helped me unload the dishwasher and it was just about the cutest thing ever. Right when Christian was grabbing the camera to video though, we were done...maybe I can catch it tonight and then I will update tomorrow because I will also be 24 weeks! It is just FLYING by!

Christian and I have a list of names we like, but seriously CAN'T decide. Not a guarantee that the winning name would be selected, BUT we would love to know what everyone thinks would make the perfect name for our baby girl! We really did not have this much trouble with Evan and I would wait and announce the name later...but with her being a girl...there are some things I would like to do with her initial or name :) THANK YOU for your help!!!!

And...22 weeks belly shot! She now weighs a pound! AH! She quite the sweet tooth let me tell you...brownies, ice cream, cookies, ANYTHING sweet!
