Evan just being Evan!

5 months has been such a fun stage so far! Evan has so much personality! :) He is really a happy boy! I just think little boys are the best! Yet...this little stinker did literally wake up Monday morning and decide he was no longer going to take a bottle! After lots of running around borrowing and buying different bottles, we have one that works! Thanks Sallie and Amy for your help!!!!

This week was fun! We saw our good friends Sallie and her girls a few times and also went to visit Mckinleigh who just had very painful knee surgery! I had never seen a potty on wheels until Wednesday and let me tell you...I may need one of those when I don't have to miss out on shows! HAHAHAHA!!! Evan just LOVED Sallie's girls and they are going to make really good big sisters :) Sallie is thinking of having another baby in the next few years and I just can't wait! She is such a natural mother and a true inspiration!

Evan's schedule has really been changing these last few weeks. He is basically awake all the time. Maybe a few cat naps here and there but for the most part wants to play, cuddle, yell, and blow raspberries! He is doing better during the night but still wants his pacifier at around 3:30-4:00 but I am sure this will get better with time!

Food wise...he loves carrots, bananas, and yesterday had AVOCADO for the first time. It was a hit!!! But, Christian and I are pretty sure he is just going to eat anything :)

Today, while the boys were helping Shawn pack and move, Amy and I laid out by the pool and took the boys swimming for about 45 minutes! They did great! She got a very cute pic of the two of them chilling by the pool that I will have to post once I get it :) It has been fun having another little baby so close!!!

In other news, the pool is on it's way!!!! They were here yesterday and all day today doing the big dig! I will post a pic of the giant hole probably tomorrow or Monday!

5 months old!!!!!

Today our little guy is 5 months old!!!

I can't believe how much fun this boy is!

I weighed him this morning, kept getting different numbers, but somewhere around 18-18.4 pounds! When I busted out the tape measure, I got around 26 inches. But, just like when they do it at the doc's office, I am sure there is a margin of error :)

In his big boy jammies! PJ's are something Evan really seems to be growing out of right now and we only have a few that fit. I saw these at Old Navy and thought the short sleeves may be a good idea, because with all his layers (lol) he tends to get a little overheated!


AND...he is now.... SITTING UP!!!! Still leaning forward a bit, this first pic was today and the one below was yesterday...a little improvement :) But, any day now I am sure he will be straight up! But, honestly, I think the belly is weighing him down a bit :)

Baby Food Chef!!!!!

Well I can't take all the credit...I do have this amazing baby food maker! (THANKS NANCY!!!) But, last night I made carrots for the first time and Evan loved them! He screamed when he was done :) He will have carrots for a few days then will try bananas. I had a few minutes today, literally that is all it takes, and went ahead and made them. Bananas are easy because they just puree, no steaming required. I went to the store today and bought organic bananas for $1.67 and made 28 servings!!!! Not only is this way very healthy, but also economical! It does take time, but so worth it!!! I am storing the food in ice trays, once it is frozen popping them out and putting them into freezer bags until we are ready for them :)

When Evan wakes up he is not always the happiest camper! He is sensitive anyway, but especially when he wakes up...the softest noise, song (wedding march, squeaky noise) can make him so pouty...here it is! Usually there is no tears...but yesterday we got a big crocodile tear!!!

Summer time!

Summer is off to a great start and I feel like Evan is doing more everyday! He's rolling over, talking all time, eating solids, sleeping in his crib, snuggles with a lovie, trying to pull himself up when lying down, takes a few steps when supported on his legs, blowing raspberries (not fun when he is eating), loving his swing (finally!), sticking out his tongue at people, giggling, and GROWING LIKE CRAZY!!!

I have had such a blast these last few weeks being home! And next weekend...my mom and little brother will move here which is SOOOO exciting!!!!

In other Lindberg news...WE ARE BUILDING A POOL!!!! WAHOOO!!!!! It's going to be pretty big, 98 ft perimeter with a waterfall, baja step, pebbleshen, tiled turtles (thanks honey!), salt system, and color changing lights!!!! We also bought about 5 Queen Palms and shurbs! We are doing a little backyard renovation! :) AZ is the place for outdoor living and I just can't wait until our little Oasis is done! Here's the drawing of it all! The dig starts Monday!

Kiddie Paradise, Food, and Aunt Sarah, and More!

This week was crazy!!!! It was the last week of school AND Aunt Sarah came to visit!!! WOOO HOOOO!!! We had a good time! On Monday night was Christian and I's anniversary so we went to an Tepanyaki Grill and Evie stayed with Auntie Sarah!

Evan ALSO went to Kiddie Paradise this week! It went very well! The first day was a little rocky and he does cry when I leave but he will get used to it! It was so nice to be able to go and see him whenever I wanted! I was able to feed him on my break and lunch with was awesome!

FOOD!!!! This week Evan had Rice Cereal for the first time!!! He really liked it! I have videos, but they are long so I will try and post later, but sometimes the videos take forever! Have definitely seen a change in his sleep pattern! This boy has such a huge appetite! Last night he slept from 9pm to 8am!!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!
